About the Role
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in supporting daily store activities, supervising staff, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring the store consistently delivers a pleasant shopping experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the Store Manager in coordinating daily store operations to meet sales and performance targets.
2. Supervise and motivate store staff to deliver outstanding customer service.
3. Manage inventory control including stock ordering, replenishment, and display management.
4. Ensure full compliance with company policies, safety, and hygiene standards.
5. Oversee cash handling and sales reports, ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
6. Identify and address operational challenges, offering solutions to improve efficiency.
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field (an added advantage).
2. 2–4 years of experience as a storekeeper or in a similar supervisory role within a retail supermarket.
3. Proficiency in inventory management systems or POS software.
4. Must reside in Abuja and be willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
