Reports To: Head Chef
Salary Range: ₦80,000 – ₦100,000 monthly
Job Overview:
The Head Chef oversees culinary operations, and as a Kitchen Assistant/Cleaner, you’ll play a vital role in supporting kitchen efficiency, cleanliness, and food preparation to maintain the highest standards of hygiene and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times
2. Assist in food preparation under chef supervision
3. Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and safety regulations
4. Help control kitchen inventory and minimize waste
5. Support kitchen staff in day-to-day operations
Key Requirements:
1. Prior experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is an advantage
2. Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene
3. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
4. Team player with a positive attitude
Performance Expectations (KPIs)
1. Kitchen hygiene & safety maintained at 100% compliance
2. Support in minimizing food waste
3. Timely assistance with food preparation and service
4. Positive teamwork and cooperation
