“Not My Man”: Lady Treated Like Royalty by Asherkine Breaks Silence, Denies ‘Boyfriend’ Drama
A Nigerian lady who recently received a royal treatment from popular philanthropist Asherkine has broken her silence and she’s setting the record straight.
The drama started when Asherkine, known for his random acts of generosity, visited the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. There, he met a young woman whom he treated like royalty from a luxurious outing to lavish gifts, sparking admiration and envy online.
But the fairytale moment quickly turned messy when a man surfaced online, claiming the lady in question was his girlfriend of two years. Social media erupted with hot takes and mixed emotions.
Now, the lady at the center of the storm has responded, and she’s not holding back.
“I’m here to debunk the whole story that has been going on about me denying my boyfriend and whatnot,” she said in a viral video.
“First of all, the name ‘Becky Chinaza’ he is using is not my name. Secondly, I don’t know who this person is. And thirdly, the WhatsApp messages he’s sharing aren’t mine. That’s not even my DP! I don’t even speak that kind of English.”
She maintained that she’s innocent of all the allegations and said the screenshots circulating online are fake possibly photoshopped using content from her TikTok page.
“I do not have a boyfriend, and I have never ever had a boyfriend,” she emphasized.
“So, if he’s claiming to be my boyfriend, he should bring real evidence not screenshots and lies.”
The alleged boyfriend has yet to produce credible proof of the relationship, and the internet remains divided. Some are praising the young woman for standing her ground, while others are calling for calm until the full story unfolds.
Asherkine, for his part, has not commented publicly on the drama.
For now, the mystery of the “two-year relationship” remains a mystery. But one thing is clear: the lady insists she’s single, never mingled, and absolutely not dating the man claiming otherwise.
