A leading retail supermarket in Abuja (FCT) is hiring Supermarket Cashiers to join their dynamic team and help create a seamless checkout experience for customers.
Job Title: Supermarket Cashier
Location: Abuja, FCT
Reports To: The Supermarket Manager
Salary: ₦100,000 – ₦120,000 monthly
Key Responsibilities Include:
🔹 Accurately scan and process purchases using modern POS systems
🔹 Receive payments (cash, card, transfer, voucher) and issue receipts
🔹 Maintain a neat and friendly checkout station
🔹 Deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism
🔹 Handle cash drawer balances and end-of-day reconciliations
🔹 Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and company policies
Requirements:
✅ SSCE/WAEC minimum; OND or higher preferred
✅ 1–2 years’ experience as a cashier in retail or supermarkets
✅ POS and cash register proficiency
✅ Strong math, communication, and interpersonal skills
✅ Willingness to work weekends and public holidays
